Following their success at last month's Elmbridge Drama Festival, taking the Runners Up Trophy and winning the Best Actress Award for Anne Nunn, the production won further accolades at Leatherhead Drama Festival this week.

Adjudicator Jennifer Scott-Reid GoDA announced Primrose Way as outright winners of the festival following a week of high quality plays. On Saturday 14th May the play was recalled to perform again along with the winners of the Junior Week - St John's School Leatherhead with a magnificent production of 'Find Me'.

At the awards ceremony after the two performances, the prizes were presented by Loose Women's Andrea McLean who was full of praise for what she had seen.

As well as winning the Michael Caine 'teetering coach' trophy as winners of the adult festival, Judith Dolley won the Best Director award. In addition Anne Nunn was one of the three nominations for Best Actress and Amy Hewson was given a 'special mention' for her performance.

Congratulations to the whole team.
