by Woody Allen (Riverside Drive) and Michael Frayn (Alarms)

A Double Bill of Comedies had 4 performances over 9 years ago (between the 16th of July 2014 and the 19th of July 2014) at The Riverhouse Barn

173rd Production. Riverside Drive and Alarms are two award-winning comedies with two very different dilemmas, both providing hilarious and troubling situations for all characters.

Both plays were performed by RDG as entries in one-act drama festivals during the past year with great success. They are presented here together to form an entertaining evening at the lovely Riverhouse Barn, Walton on Thames.

Riverside Drive poses an almost impossible moral dilemma. James needs to be rid of his mistress. A solution is presented to him but should he follow the advice of a mysterious stranger who seems to know him and his business......

Alarms shows technology is a wonderful thing - but is it our servant or our master? John and Jocasta are about to find out when their dinner party becomes a trial of patience for hosts and guests alike.
