In addition to his many strong performances - often in comedy roles - Bill served the group for many years as RDG secretary. He first appeared in 1966 in CAT ON THE FIDDLE, while he last took the RDG stage in 1983 in And A Nightingale Sang. Bill was particularly adept at playing Ayckbourn - he made a definitive appearance as Ernest in BEDROOM FARCE.
We were very sorry when he and his wife Margaret Rowe moved to Shropshire. Bill died in2022
