Dennis proved a great asset when he joined the scenery-building team in 2001. He first worked - along with his wife Ann Philcox on the set for Memory of Water, The. He also helped create the demanding set for Bed and the more conventional set for An Evening with Gary Lineker. Recently he has helped create the set for My Night With Reg, Privates on Parade, Arcadia and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. Dennis made his first appearance onstage in Sweet Charity in 2002.
