Clare Pinnock
No of times stage managed RDG Productions - 71 Since she joined the group in 1996, Clare has become an indispensable part of the backstage team. She is an excellent property mistress and stage manager. In addition she helps create the scenery for productions. In all her talents have contributed to over scores of presentations.
She enjoys festival work and it was great to have her as part of the team which took Lears Daughters to Monaco in 2001 In 2002 she was the key member of the Backstage crew of our British Finalist production of Bed - following which, in the same month, she stage-managed My Night With Reg and Five Kinds of Silence when it was re-called for the All-Winners Festival at Hertford. She has stage managed our production of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, The Cripple of Inishmaan, Breaking The Code and Kindertransport. 2008 saw Clare stage manage the dark comedy The Lightning Play and the year ended with Clare receiving - for the third successive year ~ the trophy for Best Backstage Management at the Woking and the Spelthorne Drama Festivals,
2009 began with her stage-management of Broken Glass. 2010 began with her S M of Teeth which won three stage awards and ended with the complex management of Tom Jones. She was SM for the musical 42 Street, Making History and the demandingly complex Calendar Girls. In 2014 she stage managed the demanding Our Country's Good and the imaginative production of Macbeth 2015. Next came the demanding stage-management of Travels With My Aunt. The stage management of Alan Bennett's People and the classic Volpone made huge demands but once again Clare rose to the challenge.
We were delighted when Clare received the Best Backstage Team Trophy for our award-winning production of Albertine in Five Times at the 2023 Woking Festival
